The Maynard Evans High School first ever Show Choir is attending a National Competition!!!!

Thirty four (34) students will be attending the Heritage Festival in Chicago, Illinois on May 1 - 4, 2008. Hard work through fundraising has been a non stop effort for them. This choir really expressed their dedication and commitment to this trip, by selling over sixty boxes of candy to their fellow classmates, attending bucket drops and asking for donations around the neighborhood, the entire choir even went on a diet!!!

Despite the relentless efforts of the students, we were unable to meet our goal of fundraising. This is where the community comes in. In order to make this dream a reality we need $3,000.00. As they continue to raise money, donations will still be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
