Did you know that Neighborhood Watch details have helped decrease burglaries by up to 40% in communities...Did you know that it helps to get to know your neighbors so that you each play a part in keeping your neighborhood safe? This evening you can join your neighbors and Orlando city officials for a neighborhood watch community meeting 6pm at the Jackson Center 1002 Carter Street – refreshments will be served so come out tonight.

Mom, Dad, grandma – there are some ways to help prepare them from home without feeling like you don't have any way to help them study.... for FAMU – the Seminole alumni chapter are meeting 2pm tomorrow at the Dr. Velma Williams annex on 13th Street in Sanford. On Sunday - Dr. Ammons, President of the HBCU, will be at Allen Chapel in Daytona, for a recruitment reception 6pm at the church. And a portion of the Orange County Black History gala proceeds benefit FAMU students as well as those attending UCF and Valencia.

It's FCAT time again – this weekend have your kids relax but also make them responsible for opening a book as well – this Tuesday thru Friday, grades 3 thru 10 will take Reading and Math and grades 5, 8 and 11 will take Science. Parents you're responsible for providing a nutritious breakfast for your little geniuses.
