I would help my mom/dad with the mortgage and the car notes see we bought a car and then 2weeks later I was in a car accident. They have helped me immensly, throughout my bouts with cancer. I have such guilt that they are currently working while I am not bcuz of my car accident, which left me pretty banged up and just went through surgery to remove precancerous cells which this time around were benighn so I thank god for that.. and I have just recently been told by my doctor that my cancer appears to be back although that is not confirmed until all test come back...

My God would this be a blessing to me. I'm a 44 year old single parent that has exactly a year left to finsih nursing school. Due to clinical hours I would be unable to work a full time job, which is forcing me to quit school. Being a nursing have been my dream. If I had the opportunity to live free for a year i would work very hard taking the monies that i use towards the mortgage and car payment and apply them to the smallest bills to pay them off then work towards the larger ones. I took a lot of things for granite. I am blessed. I admit that I have lost confidence and mental toughness during this economic crunch. I have three sons and a daughter that love me no matter what. As a single mom,I would finally be rid of so much stress that I have been enduring through the help of God!I broke my ankle 3 years ago and the doctors said that I would never walk again or if I did it would be with a severe limp. We lost our home and I relocated to Florida through my son's request, but all it turned out to be was a request. We stayed with him and his girlfriend for three months and we had to leave due to uncomfortable circumstances and find our own place. I was hoping to leave with them long enough to put some money away, but unfortunately it didn't happen. I landed a good job as a contractor, but then had to leave due to the sudden death of my boss. God has always provided and will continue I know, but it has been so difficult. If I could live free for a year, I would help out at my grandmas house. My grandma (53 yrs) just found out she has breast cancer, no job or insurance. So my mom, dad, and baby brother moved in her place to help out a bit. As of right now, when my current lease is up I have no clue where i'll be laying my head and that's a major headache which will be helped If I was to win. School is also something that I have dreaming to get back into. Goodness how winning this would help on so many levels.

If I won the "Living Free for a Year" contest the first thing I would do is drop to my knees and thank my Lord and Savior. All things happen through his blessings. I would then pay my tithes, bills and save. My familys daily needs would also be met with the money won. I also believe in helping others and would definetly help those love ones around me.

I would use the saved money to clean up our credit. I have a single income family of 5. My income was reduced due company changes. We are currently renting and would like to one day purchase our own home. We are barely living within our means, with little room for error or miscalulations. My fiance is currently going to school and taking care of the children. We have made the decision to keep the children at home and not use a daycare to help save money on child care expenses. If I could live free for a year would be so tankful to star for the win. I have be out of work for 8 months and its been really sad. I've been sheading tears to God and saying lots of prayers. I have two girls who look up to me and they have help to cut the light bill down by using candles at night. I told them we were using to much light because the bill wsa $230.00. We started not cutting on lights and using candelos and the bill went down to &71.00. We are waiting to see what the bill will be this month. we also have cut back on food also. I thank god for blessing me and my family through the terrible economy. I'm a single parent with 3 children. The oldest is graduating this year. I didn't realize how much money you spend when you have a child in their senior year. I had to sacrifice some of the money I pay bills with to make sure my child is prepared for graduation time. But at the end it's all worth it whether I'm down to my last penny.

First and far most I would give thanks to God for presenting ME with the gift and opportunity. It would give me the chance to get myself back on track from not working for ovet 10 months. I would start off by paying all my bills to a zero balance and start the process of cleaning up my credit to put me a place to purchase verse throwing away money in renting. I would assist in getting my mother take care of and ensuring she has the monies to pay for meds and food. Which really takes it toll on me due to I live out of state. My sister and her husband who was diagnosed with cancer moved here two years ago and have just lost their house. I probably will lose my house should something happen to my mother since my diability payment is not even enough to pay rent on a small apt. Im talking less than 600 a month. I would use the extra mony to continue paying on our house hoping to get the morgage low enough that we could live out the rest of our lives here. If I could win this special Blessing, I would give "GOD", what he truly deserves from my earnings. I would try to make up for so much lost time. We now scramble to live paycheck to paycheck. I would make some major repairs to my home which we just managed to get out of foreclosure. I would replace the heating system which is now costing us between $350 and $450 in electric bills during the winter months. I would replace my windows, which I could push out of the frame if I gave it a good push. I then would replace my roof which I just learned is leaking. After all of this work is done I would take a nice vacation, as I haven't been able to afford one since I moved here from New York 3 1/2 years ago. Then after the vacation is over I would set up my home based businesses properly so that they could provide my family the income we need to maintain a manageable lifestyle here in Florida. My husband and I have seen nothing but hard times here but we haven't let hard times destroy our family. The love of "GOD" and the love of each other has kept us together even as we see so many of our friends just throw in the towel. My eldest daughter pasted on July 12th this year, and my second daughter alone with my third daughter has been taking care of her sons along with their own child or children. I am not able finnacially to drive to jacksonville as I had been doing before her death, because the money is just not there. Even if you all do not help me could you all help my daughters, they're both single moms working on jobs each days to help ends me.

First I would give GOD the glory for pouring such a blessing on our family! Then, I would, in this order, tithe 10%, invest 10%, pay the prepaid tuition plan in full for our 2 children, pay off my student loans, and save the balance for a 6 months savings plan. i would stop living from paycheck to paycheck

If God were to bless me with this fortune, it would be just as winning the lottery for me. A blessing would be putting it mildly. You see, I am 35 yrs old and a little over 2 years ago my partner/husband of 17 years walked out on me and our 4 children and hasn't looked back. The 1st house were were just able to buy a few short years ago was now quickly slipping into foreclosure. A blessing of a quick sale allowed me to avoid this unfortunate thing from happening. With the help of my small support group (mother and grandmother) I was able to get into a small townhouse which I have grown to love and we have made it our home but after battling for over 2 years and without $ for a lawyer to get the divorce finalized and child support court ordered, he continues to find evry crack in the law to avoid taking care of responsibilities. I work fulltime and with 3 of my 4 being boys I am trying my best to play both mommy and daddy roles. my oldest (16) helps so much but ultimately is not her respon. Needless to say my struggle is deep and seems endless. we have come hom many a time to no electricity, no water, no phone and no food. But with faith and by his hand he picks us up and alows us to keep on. This opportunity would allow me to pay al the late bills and 4 months late mortgage because forclosure is now at my door and we will have nowhere to go. My mother helps the most she can but her funds are quickly depleating and my grandmother is now legally blind and I am helping upport her as well. I would love to be able to help them as they have for us. if not for thrm we would be running every night to make the shelter line in hopes of somehwere to rest out head at night. My health has suffered since this all happened while my soon to be ex only has to pay $350 a month to live and has 2 paid for cars to drive. my tires are bald and I pray every day I drive to take us safely there and back. God please grant my babies the oportunity for mommy to take care of them they way they deserve. They are superior children, all a honor role students and my oldest is graduating 1 year early. my life is nothing if not for them. They deserve the world, please allow me to give them a taste of it..... Amen

If I could live free for a year, I would start out by paying cash for a car for my two daughters so they could have their transportation to and from work to alievate the wear and tear on my car. The rest will be used to fix my car up and keep gas in it with the high price of gas now a days.

Should I be fortunate enough to win and live free for a year I wouldn't take it for myself, I would like to transfer it to one of my co-workers. My mortgage is manageable and I just finished paying off one car, so I am blessed. However, my coworker has a really high mortgage and the economy has caused a hardship on her family. If I could live free for a year, i would continue to pay my 10% to the church, pay off my credit cards and save money for grad school. I never knew when I got out college that living on my own would be so expensive and it doesnt make it any better with the economy the way it is. I just need a little head start so that i can go to grad school.

If I won Live Free for a Year, that would ba a blessing form God. I am a single mother of 2 and struggling to pay all my bills. Not having to pay my rent and a car note will give me the chance to chatch up with all my other bills and pay them on time and also my other car note that one of my sons is useing to go to college and to help my other son go to a vocational school to be a mechanic and it will give me a little piece of mind for a while not to worry where I am going to get the money to pay these bills and not to keep borrowing and getting into deeper debt. thank god for people like you.

If I were to win the grand prize to live free for a year. I would take my employment check and renovate my mothers house for me, my daughter and her two children. As a single of twin boys and moved to orlando to make a new and happy family for my boys but just recently lost my job and now my car just got repoed so yes if one worry i would not have is my rent was paid for so I could at least not loose the roof over our heads. That would truly be a blessing

First of all I would payoff my other bills, I am 68 years old and would love to be able to live somewhat relaxed and be able to see my mentally retarded adopted son more regularly. I don't drive at night so I must pay for a hotel stay overnight in Miami, I live in Deltona Fl.right now I see him once a month.He is 16 years old and even though he doesn't speak you can see the happiness when he sees me come into the facility.

Well my 17y/o qualified for this Model/ Acting expo that was held at the Peabody in Orlando and when he went there he was chosen by sevral differnt agencies to be represented by them. We had to chose which suited us best. One of the casting agencies that choose him is Simmons & Scott casting out of LA. and we have agreed to relocate him when he turns 18y/o to LA. So i would save the money I didn't have to spend on bills and buy him a used car to travel to auditions in and be able to set him up in an apartment so that he would have a headstart and could focus on school and his pending acting career.
