In a unanimous vote March 19, the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority board voted to increase most tolls starting on April 5.

Officials cited a decline in riders and revenue as a need for the increase.

There was a last minute effort to delay the hikes, but the plan did not receive enought support.

In the plan, the tolls will automatically go up again in 2012 based on inflation. Tolls for 2 Axles Effective April 5.
