Jasmine Guy Files for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

TMZ.com is reporting that Jasmine Guy has had to file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy due to a load of back taxes that she accumulated with her ex-husband Terrence Mitchell Duckett before their April divorce.

According to papers filed in L.A. Superior Court, Guy owes $123,503.64 in back taxes and penalties while Duckett is on the hook for $94,354.71, reports TMZ.

The longtime star of "A Different World" won sole custody of her daughter as well as her furniture, artwork, jewelry, cars, pre-marital earnings in the divorce.

Meanwhile, Guy has just been cast on the CW's new series "Vampire Diaries."
