Mike is in the Seminole County Detention Center because the State denied his bond because they think he is a threat to Society. Mike gets shot on May 27th by a City Official/Fire Inpector who claims Mike punched him so he shot him. The young boy who supposedly witnessed Mike hit him testified yester...day 7/20/10 at the bond hearing. However he did not testify for the State, he testified on Mikes Behalf. He said under oath that he DID NOT see Mike hit Mr. Whorton. He said he assumed thats what happened because thats what our bias Seminole county investigators told him. The boys mother also testified and cried as she told how she saw Mike begging for help on this day. Plugging his wound and banging on doors pleading for help yet no one would help him. She said Mr. Whorton was rubbing his face hard (as if maybe trying to cause bruising himself). Unfortunately this testimony was not enough. Mr Whortons statement was more credibles than Mikes. Now ask yourself, why is that? Why is Mr. Whortons statement more credible? Could it be because he is a City Official/Fire Inspector? Right now there are murderers and rapist wandering the streets but Mike is being held without Bond!

Really, when are we as parents are going to understand that we can't watch our kids all the time. Shooting of the young man was not the right way of handling that situation, now the father has to face possible time in jail. Why do we think that what those kids were doing was so wrong? I mean, sit your kids down and learn them up about what they could have done differently. Shooting that young man wasn't going to change the fact that the act had already happened, now you have to look at them as young adults and give them some knowledge. Not Violence, both were consenting participants. Wow! Wake up parents, you don't hang-out with your kids and there's always the possiblility that YOUR KID was actively involved in any event.
