When we first heard about HIV our thoughts immediately went to 3 places

...either immigrants from Haiti, monkey's from Africa or gay white men...more than 20 years later - the face of HIV/AIDS is different now...its you and I - It's African American men and women and alarmingly now our teens....and as always, a disproportionate number of black teens are HIV infected. Here's one more thing to note...if you already have an STD - you're more at risk for contracting HIV....so all the more reason to get tested today. No matter what age, gender or even color you are...AIDS is no respecter of such...

When we first heard about HIV we were in shock and kept it a secret. Now more than 20 years later - wanna know what...we're still keeping it a secret. HIV/AIDS has affected everyone - in some way. Let the secret out. Let's talk about sex and safer sex ...STAR Cares About Our Community...
