Fleet Peeples Park is a beautiful shady park that covers 23 acres on Lake Baldwin. Named for city resident, Mr. Fleet Peeples, a well known swimming instructor, the park is one of few which boasts a sandy beach. This park is the only park in the city known as "dog friendly" - dogs may run off leash during specific posted hours. Fleet Peeples Park offers two pavilions, a boat ramp for boats under 10hp, picnic tables, and restrooms.
